Rates

Weekly Classes:

Classes are defined as a group of 2 or more students meeting on a regular basis. Class fees are $8/student/class for one hour or $10/student/class for an hour and a half. Currently all regular classes are paid for and scheduled through Topeka Parks and Recreation. If you are interested in a regular class being scheduled at your location please contact Huraiva at huraiva@huraivaalmiah.com.

Belly Dance Parties:

Throw a belly dance themed party! We will provide decorating ideas, music, incense, bindis and an array of Middle Eastern recipes for you to prepare for your guests. We will perform in costume and bring coin belts and veils for your guests to try out when we demonstrate a few basic moves.  One Hathor's Hips Belly Dance Troupe member for each five guests will provide your guests individualized instruction, with a maximum of 15 guests (including yourself). The cost for a belly dance party is $75 per hour for each group of one to five guests (that is only $15 per person).  No bachelor or stag parties (at least 50% female attendance required).

Performance Set:

A performance set is usually for a small group in a private setting. The rate for a performance set is $50 for 15 minutes and $10 for each additional 5 minutes, per dancer.  Additional amounts can be charged to cover traveling to out of town areas. A 15 minute performance set usually includes three to four numbers. Cabaret style will include a veil number and a drum solo. Gypsy style will include a skirt number and a drum solo. A tribaret style performance set will require two to three dancers and will include a mixture of group improvisation and choreographed numbers. No bachelor parties or other all male events.

Private Lessons:

Private lessons are defined as a lesson for one person in a private setting, the student provides the location. The rate for private lessons is $30 per hour, minimum one hour. 

Semi-Private Lessons:

Semi-private lessons are defined as a lesson for 2-4 people in a private setting, the students provide the location. The rate for semi-private lessons is $40 per hour, minimum one hour.

Private Classes:

Private classes will be defined as a lesson for 5 or more people in a private setting, the students provide the location. The rate for private classes is $8 per student per hour, minimum one hour.

Workshops:

Workshops are defined as a lesson for a group of people in a public setting. The rates for workshops are based on the location, the duration of the workshop and the topic covered, please contact Huraiva at huraiva@huraivaalimah.com for a quote.
